SofiaTax is led by George Minchev, founder of Minchev Consulting Group.

George has over 15 years of experience in the accounting, tax and finance industry, having worked in various roles, including accountant, tax consultant and finance director.

He holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Audit from Bulgaria's oldest university of economics and has also completed a multi-year accounting specialization in the United Kingdom, supported by a formal diploma from one of the world's leading professional bodies for accounting professionals.

Through his work with Bulgarian and international clients, George has developed a practical understanding of the challenges foreign professionals and business owners face when dealing with Bulgarian accounting, VAT, payroll and tax compliance.
